Can't figure out how to add an event for the future, like giving medicine next Monday

The calendar is used to log daily activities and can also set future events that appear in the 'Due Soon' card on the dashboard. This mimics the real-life action of marking future events as reminders on a paper calendar, so maybe it can work.
